Well, here we are in the middle of my second winter in Denver. Snow on the ground and a chill in the air. Did I say chill, I meant, man is it cold out. For the last 4 years previous to moving here, we lived in Phoenix. The winter there meant great rides in the desert and low lying mountains. I really miss it. There was not an off season for riding there. In the summer you rode the mountains. In the winter, the lowlands. And you got used to the 100+ temps in the summer. Well, most people did.
But now we live in the Great Rocky Mountains. Where right now my girl is in the shed staying out of the snow. I go in every couple of days to start her up. I say it is to charge up the battery a bit, but in reality, I just want to hear her running. Feel the power in the throttle, and just dream a bit of the great rides we have coming up.
So, I decided to start a blog about motorcycling and how it is good for the soul. My soul. I want to start writing about trips that we will be taking, and maybe get a few published. Which means, she is going to have to learn how to take pictures from the back seat. And I thought this blog will help me learn how to write. They say if you write about something you like, it should come easy. Well we will see about that.
In the mean time, I am going to be putting down my thoughts, my dreams of future rides, and see where this whole thing takes me.
